Information is the lifeblood of organizations. In today's digital era, no private company or public institution can effectively deliver its products or services without leveraging information. In our interconnected world, information, often referred to as data, plays a critical role in facilitating human interactions and organizational processes.

Despite the fundamental importance of information, many companies lack a comprehensive understanding of its value or fail to effectively manage it. It is imperative to shift this mindset and recognize information as a corporate asset. This transformation represents a significant shift, one that necessitates not just changes in management or the adoption of IT solutions, but primarily an enterprise cultural shift.

To accomplish this objective, it is essential to gain insight into the current state and challenges facing organizations, particularly in terms of information management. Building on these insights, we will propose strategies and tools to seamlessly integrate information asset management into overall organizational management. Professionals such as information managers, archivists, and records managers can serve as catalysts for driving these changes. The final section of our presentation will therefore focus on our practices, their evolution, and the challenges we must address to remain at the forefront of this organizational transformation.
