EBLIDA and PL2030, two major European library organisations, joined forces with the Slovenian association for culture and education PiNA to connect libraries to EU resources. The Erasmus+-project RL:EU aims to create a platform for public libraries as forward-looking learning centres to exchange best practices and to provide a one-stop shop for partnership finding and creation related to European projects.

The project will help librarians to complement library reorientation with knowledge and skills about seeking partnerships and European funding. RL:EU project activities include webinars, workshops, mentoring and coaching sessions.

We will host a workshop to introduce the participating library professionals to EU funding possibilities and to the principles of a need-based project development approach. The session will include an interactive part to develop and reflect on project ideas. We aim to provide the group with the necessary starter tools to go further in European project development with their library.
